Overview
Spyglass is Saronic Technologies' smallest autonomous surface vessel, a 6-foot platform with a configurable payload bay built around a modular open-systems architecture for reconnaissance and domain-awareness missions, deployable alone or in coordinated swarms via at-sea launch and recovery from larger expeditionary craft. In March 2024, five Spyglass vessels took part in the US Pacific Fleet's Integrated Battle Problem (IBP) 24.1 exercise, where Navy operators controlled multiple units from a single interface over beyond-line-of-sight links, with each vessel routing communications through redundant RF pathways to maintain a coordinated swarm network. As of August 2026 Spyglass is no longer featured on Saronic's public vessels page, which currently lists only the larger Corsair, Mirage and Marauder platforms; Saronic has not publicly announced whether Spyglass has been discontinued, consolidated into another product line, or simply de-emphasized in marketing.
