Omen

A runway-independent Group 3 autonomous air vehicle, unveiled in November 2025. Omen is a tail-sitting, hybrid-electric aircraft standing roughly 3 m (10 ft) tall that takes off and lands vertically before transitioning to efficient forward cruise (hover-to-cruise), combining long endurance with hundreds of pounds of payload and rapid two-person deployment from ship, shore or austere sites. It is designed to carry multiple ISR payloads simultaneously, including synthetic-aperture radar, electro-optical and signals-intelligence sensors, and uses Anduril's Lattice software for collaborative autonomy. Anduril began development in 2019, flew demonstrators from 2020, and logged hundreds of flight hours across 30+ prototypes. The system was launched with a UAE partnership (EDGE Group) including an initial order of 50 aircraft and a plan for full-rate production by the end of 2028; its hybrid powertrain is supplied by Archer Aviation.
