Overview
The AR5 is Tekever's flagship medium-altitude, medium-endurance (MAME) fixed-wing unmanned aircraft system, built with redundant critical flight systems including twin engines and automatic takeoff and landing to support sustained, higher-risk operations. Its SATCOM-enabled datalink gives it beyond-radio-line-of-sight (BRLOS) control with effectively unlimited communications range, and it can operate from unprepared airstrips. The airframe uses a flexible, modular architecture that accepts a wide range of sensors and payloads, including multiple EO/IR sensors, maritime patrol radar, synthetic aperture radar, SIGINT payloads and AIS receivers, positioning it for long-endurance maritime surveillance, border security, and land ISR missions alongside Tekever's smaller AR3 family.

Performance
Speed, range, altitude and engagement capability.
| Cruise speed Sustained economical speed. Determines transit time to station. | 100 km/h |
|---|---|
| Endurance Time on station. Critical for UAVs and patrol platforms, higher means longer persistent coverage. On a ground robot, published continuous run time on a full charge or fuel tank. | 20 h |
Firepower
Armament, payload and guidance.
| Weapons payload Maximum ordnance weight the platform can carry. Higher means more strike capacity per sortie. | 50 kg |

Physical
Dimensions, weight and crew.
| Length Overall length including gun/probe where applicable. | 4 m |
|---|---|
| Wingspan Wingtip-to-wingtip span. | 7.3 m |
| Crew Personnel required to operate. Fewer reduces exposure; autoloaders trade a loader for mechanical complexity. | 0 |
Propulsion
Engine, power and fuel.
| Engines Number of engines. Twin-engine gives redundancy at higher cost. | 2 |
