Type 094 Jin
China's second-generation nuclear ballistic-missile submarine, forming the sea-based leg of its nuclear triad, armed with JL-2 and later JL-3 submarine-launched ballistic missiles. It succeeded the single Type 092 Xia as the PLA Navy's primary strategic deterrent platform.
