The world's largest shipbuilder by output and one of South Korea's 'Big Three' yards, founded by Chung Ju-yung in Ulsan in 1972. Its naval programs include the Sejong the Great-class Aegis destroyers and, jointly with Hanwha Ocean, the Dosan Ahn Changho-class (KSS-III) submarines.
