South Korean vertically-launched anti-submarine rocket, functionally equivalent to the US RUM-139 VL-ASROC: a rocket motor with midcourse and terminal guidance carries a K745 Blue Shark torpedo payload to a designated target area, then parachute-releases it to conduct the actual acoustic homing attack. Fired from the Korean Vertical Launching System (K-VLS) aboard Republic of Korea Navy destroyers; in service since 2010.
