Overview

The FP-2 is a Ukrainian mid-range strike drone from Fire Point, positioned as a heavier-payload complement to the longer-range FP-1. Public reporting describes an operational range of roughly 200 km carrying a 105 kg warhead, a shorter reach than the FP-1's reported 1,600 km in exchange for a substantially larger payload. It can operate autonomously against stationary, pre-planned targets or be guided manually over a radio link against moving objects. Fire Point has said it is working on two parallel upgrades: a version with the warhead increased to roughly 158 kg while holding the 200 km range, and a separate deep-strike variant intended to extend range while retaining the original 105 kg warhead. As of mid-2026 Fire Point has not published a unit cost, production rate, or total units built for the FP-2, and these upgrade paths remain under development rather than fielded.
