ONE

Patria ONE is a tactical unmanned aerial system marketed under Patria's Defence and Weapon Systems division as a modular strike and payload-delivery quadcopter. Patria describes a modular architecture that combines components from external suppliers with Patria's own flight and mission software, built to Western safety and certification standards and intended for scalable series production in the thousands of units per year. The airframe has an empty weight of 2.0 kg and a maximum take-off weight of 7 kg, rising to 9 kg with the optional XL kit; maximum payload is 4 kg, or 5 kg with the XL kit. Without propellers the aircraft measures 62 by 62 by 31 cm, and the diameter across the propellers is 124.5 cm, which allows it to be carried in a tactical backpack. Patria quotes flight time of up to 60 minutes with a 3.8 kg payload and up to 120 minutes empty, with a corresponding range of up to 25 km carrying 3.8 kg and up to 55 km empty. The figures recorded here take the empty-configuration maxima. Maximum speed is 24 m/s, recorded as 86 km/h, and take-off and landing are cleared to 15 m/s wind. Rated operating temperature is -30 to +40 degrees Celsius, and the aircraft can be flown in GNSS-denied environments across Atti, GPS and Mission flight modes. Tactical payloads are released or detonated through a patented three-step safe-and-arm device, and Patria states new tactical payloads can be integrated. The system ships with the SkyControl ground control station, a glove-operable IP65 unit with a 7-inch 750 cd/m2 display built to MIL-STD-810G, and an external IP-based radio with AES 128/256-bit encryption, adjustable transmission power from 100 to 1600 mW and a radio line-of-sight range of up to 15 km.
