Overview
DroneGun Tactical is DroneShield's rifle-style handheld counter-UAS jammer, built for two-handed, long-range defeat of hostile small drones. High-performance directional antennas disrupt a wide range of ISM radio-frequency bands as well as GNSS satellite navigation signals out to roughly 2 km, causing a targeted drone to land on the spot or return to its starting point. The system weighs 7.3 kg including two batteries, is rated IP54, and runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack providing more than two hours of aggregate operating time across an operating temperature range of -20 C to +55 C. DroneGun Tactical was selected as the preferred solution by European Union police forces following a competitive tender, alongside wider fielding for airport, border, VIP-protection and military base-defense missions.
