Knight's Armament Company

M110 SASS

A semi-automatic, gas-operated sniper rifle derived from the Knight's Armament SR-25 platform, adopted by the U.S. Army as the Semi-Automatic Sniper System to give designated marksmen rapid-follow-up-shot capability. It has since been supplemented and partly replaced by the compact M110A1.
