Overview

The MERKEZ (Advanced) Combat Management System is Aselsan's shipboard C2 suite, fusing radar, sonar, electronic-warfare and weapons data into a single tactical picture for Turkish Navy platforms including the MILGEM Ada-class corvettes and Istanbul-class frigates. It was developed to reduce dependence on foreign combat-system suppliers under Turkey's national naval modernization program.
